Pendulum of an old clock,
Could it be a thing,
Of the past?
Message it gives, I think,
Will always last.
Irreversible passage of time;
Missive with a message, prime.
Beneath, another one you see latent
Reminding pendulum’s movement.
It stops only at extremes,
But, never in the middle.
Like peoples’ emotions
Posing a riddle
Why there can’t he a balanced view?
Praised by many, practiced by few.
At times, I wonder
If this world is one?
Or, are there as many
Worlds as people?
Each person perceives
The world with his eyes
With individual emotions
And his personal ties.
Can these complexities
Be same and one?
What is important?
The object or the information
The object gives?
One is dead the other
One lives!
When your efforts are spontaneous, yet least
The results flow out fast and sweet.
And if you try hard and tough,
You may achieve, but somewhat rough.
‘Least efforts’ must not, but betray,
Your lack of focus.
‘Least efforts’ may speak of Devotion
Bringing out spontaneity smooth promotion.
Because, when you have a goal in sight,
You think of the objective
Morning, noon and night
The hurdles and hardships
In your way
Are rarely in sight.
Think big, and think great
School your thoughts,
It is never late.
Thoughts are like the
Seeds in earth;
These condition the fruits
Before their birth.
Good thoughts
Make your decision good
Bring out the best
As they should.
Thoughts of jealousy,
Malice, similar kind
Enter your mind,
Make you mad,
And blind!
Right from morning
Through the noon,
Till we sleep at night
We keep interacting
With members of your family,
Routine service providers,
Business colleagues, associates,
And, the like.
We often face a situation,
Particularly when
It calls for a fast response;
We become at a loss
To find what to do?
As the moment
Fleets away we realise,
We should have done so; said so,
And that what we shall do!
When the presence of your mind
Comes and stays with you,
You will not think ‘what could you do’
But you will always, instantly Do.
Men obsessed with a tragic flaw
Should learn more of character,
Not law!
Shakespeare created
Tragic heroes great,
Wisdom did not dawn on them, sooner or late.
Credulous King Lear, Macbeth, Othello,
And others of the kind,
To their own, tragic, suicidal
Flaw; they turned their eyes,
Blind.
Do not overlook,
But must find
Don’t let the ‘flaw’; your life, malign.
Once upon a time
There was an arrogant man.
He never liked to walk
Because he always ran.
He was in a hurry
‘Big ones’ would be scared of his fury.
Fortune favored
And let him fly
He fell from ‘His Grace’
The man crashed
To die.
Your mission in mind
Desire working strong
Once you loose your perspective
Many matters may go wrong.
Meeting many-many people
Friends and hidden foes;
Always keep your perspective,
Caution comes
You remain alert, on your toes
Just the best way to grow.

Nation’s prosperity
