Face reality and don’t be dazed
Facts not pleasing; affectations are made
Difficult decisions, if you have delayed
Time will have its price to be paid
Ambitions high but hardly having a face
Years were wasted without reaching any place
Why worry now, you never made any base
Ineffectual repentance will not help
Accept present situation with grace
Embrace efficient efforts with a positive mind
The only way, personal peace, you can find
The intense heat that could even melt
Concrete covered steel standing high in the sky
Pushed humans to opt for the imminent death
Many jumped through windows,
Letting to death, their bodies fly
Others down below, witnessed the sight
Observing inherent dangers of such a height.

Was enough to stop anyone’s breath.
It was another morning of the usual kind
Which should have brought a busy day
Instead, it shattered human mind
Filling it with anguish and dismay
Anxiety, regrets have no place
In skilfully running lives race
Spontaneous success of your efforts

If you were ever so keen
On your face agitation seen
Chances are your mission will fail

Why do accidents occur
On holy journeys causing dismay
Humans acquire what they desire
At the time of death, so they say!
Looking back into the past
Your actions mixed shadows cast
You always thought you were right
Decisions depicting darkness
Could never be bright
Why then you were blamed
Because by greed jealousy actions were tamed
It is only when you rise above
To fellow humans shower unselfish love
That you act on conscience pure
True wisdom thus you secure, endure.
A living legend still in rage
Speaking on stage of her age
Without any associated fears
For these fifty long years
A pretty picture of perfect ease
Old songs emitted, fresh breeze
Indian culture with a western touch
Each selected song was appreciated much
Telling of family’s tryst with art
Descriptions spoke purity of heart
Viewers of the little screen
Remained glued past midnight
Listening to their singing queen
Time lends credence
To many unwritten rules
Who doesn’t learn from experience?
Becomes time’s fool
There are times when nature
Is on your right
Ample results achieved
With efforts slight
When time is bad
Keep low; don’t feel sad
When your stars don’t support
Let alone ambitions; don’t court
For no one time is always the same
Act against time; it will put you to shame
